Hi,
This piece was inspired from a fairy tale with the same name. The tale was about a toad find the Jade Emperor to ask rain.This was sight of the toad and his friends attack Thunder God. It was for an exhibition. I introduced some things in Vietnamese culture into it.

My girlfriend sketched by pencil and I painted by PSCS2.
This Princess is a Witch and skulls belong to Princes ^^.
This piece is influenced by Manga style.
I used things in some fairy tales such as the apple, the shoe...

It's concept for background of animation about orphan children.
My client want a background with a deserted street.
I used a reference photo.

I found a old photo of my mother and I decided to paint a portrait of my mother.
I changed some part as her hair, her dress and background fashionably.

One day, I think why i don't try to paint a landscape which I 've never done before. I take out the inspiration from a famous battle in Vietnamese history to paint this piece, I don't really like history but this battle impresses so strongly to me.
In fact, this battle there isn't too much such the fire but I like to paint the incombustibilities in a dark scene very much
I start to paint foeground and burning ships. I paint more ships, mini boat and duplicate them.
